All this & Gifted Too - Lessons for Artistic Children & Adults

Ohio Head Hands studentart.jpg

Cathy is a licensed teacher with a M.A. in Art Education and Gifted Education.
(Artwork created by students. This is not for sale. It is provided as an example.)
I love the idea of working with students who show artistic promise.  I also enjoy working with the teachers who teach these children. I have ideas on curriculum activities and many units of study.  My background as an art teacher helps me to coordinate art with math, history, literature, cultures, science and more. I currently teach Art and the Child at a university.
I attended the Living Arts Center, an after school  arts program for six years and then went on to become a top winner in the Ohio Governor’s Award. I am a true believer in the benefits of an arts education enhancing all academics. Working with artistically talented students isn’t just about learning techniques- it is also about having an open mind to do so.
