“When The Fat Lady Sings” shows some of my quilt development. It is inspired by a story I heard of a large woman who had triplets. The triplets were very spoiled and were always expressing their opinions. There was a lot of conflict between the woman and her children.
This quilt shows how I work- and how I make changes. (Sometimes I remove an entire section or cover over a section that isn’t working.) Quilt is not yet finshed. I challenged myself to make a quilt with primary colors.
Speaking of children, this was a photo of my friend’s two boys when they were younger (below)
The portrait was done with only one photograph. She really wanted the boys in their sunglasses
and the boy on the right has sunglasses with a dinosaur.
