I’ve always had an interest in textiles. Like many, I made doll clothes- but the real period for me was the 1970’s era of macrame, batik and weaving. I have the knowledge I do because of working with so many forms of fibers.
Art quilts became my passion in 2003. I made my first one for a competition and have been enjoying creating them ever since. I enjoy talking to other fiber artists and students interested in telling stories with fabric.
